For a half-century, the annual New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival poster has included images of the greatest local musicians, from Buddy Bolden, to Marva Wright, to Al Hirt, to Jon Batiste, rendered by some of the greatest local artists, including John Scott, George Dureau, George Rodrigue, and Terrance Osborne.
As you survey the collection, watch as the poster evolves from a free informational flyer, to a souvenir, to a collectible work of art.
