A bicyclist died after being struck by a car on St. Claude Avenue late Tuesday night, New Orleans police said.
Police were called to the scene at the intersection of St. Claude Avenue and Marigny Street around 11:30 p.m.
The 36-year-old cyclist, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Darren Mcintosh, 36, has been arrested in connection with the accident, according to the department's Major Offense Log.
Police did not release any additional information.
