A man was shot dead in the Behrman area Tuesday morning, New Orleans police said.
Police responded to a shooting in the 1900 block of Elizardi Boulevard at around 10:18 a.m. In a driveway, they found a 23-year-old man who had been shot in the chest, according to NOPD public information officer Karen Boudrie.
Emergency Medical Services took him to a hospital. At around 11 a.m., police said the man had been pronounced dead.
