A man was shot Tuesday night in the 1700 block of Coliseum Street in the Lower Garden District, the New Orleans Police Department said.
The shooting occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Police did not identify the man or release his age. Paramedics were on their way to the scene at about 8:30 p.m., the NOPD said.
No other details were immediately available.
