  • A little information...

Mrs. Maureen Reily was born in Philadelphia and attended Bishop McDevitt High School. She later earned her degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching for 25 years. In her free time she belongs to a book club, enjoys sewing, taking cooking classes and walking three miles a day. She is married and has two grown children.

Mrs Reily enjoys teaching preschoolers because they are eager to learn and they love to ask questions. They are amazed by everything. She enjoys talking with them and learning about their interests. One of the best parts about teaching Pre-K at St.JP is the opportunity to bring God's love into class discussion. The children learn that God is a part of their lives. He loves them unconditionally, and that we can all be an example of God's love by being kind to one another.

  • A little information...

Mrs. Mary Cate Delia was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved all across the country growing up because her dad was in the Air Force. She lived in five different states and finally moved to Newtown, PA when she was twelve. She attended Villa Joseph Marie High School in Holland,
PA and then Alvernia University in Reading where she earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. After that she took some graduate courses at Immaculata and Holy Family University. She has two children one is at StJP and the other is too young. She loves playing outside, reading and baking with them and she reads, gardens, and sews in her free time.

Mrs. Delia loves to teach reading and writing because she had such wonderful ELA teachers in grade school and high school that inspired and encouraged her to love these subjects. She loves to see the progression in children's writing throughout a school year. It is one of her favorite parts of teaching!

Mrs. Delia has attended Catholic Schools her whole life and she can't thank her parents enough for the sacrifices they made to send her and her other 7 siblings to Catholic School. Now that she is a parent and a teacher, she sees just how important a strong foundation in faith truly is. She knows that she is meant to help develop that foundation.
